Modern Slavery Act Statement for Financial Year 2017

Cloudflare recognizes the importance of treating everyone who works at or with Cloudflare with dignity and respect, and we explicitly prohibit human trafficking and the use of involuntary labor. We are equally committed to working with industry partners to drive common high standards and best practices.

As an employer, Cloudflare pays all of its staff and employees a living wage at a minimum. We also want to take steps against any modern slavery or human trafficking which may exist in the supply chains with which we work.

As part of this effort, we’re doing the following:

  • Reviewing standard procurement documentation to include a requirement, where appropriate, for our suppliers to confirm that they are not involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.
  • Working to ensure that new suppliers actively declare that they are not involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.
  • Reviewing our policies to take account of the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Implementing staff training and a robust reporting structure to take account of our responsibilities in this area.

This statement is made under section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, for the financial year ending December 31, 2017. This statement has been approved by Cloudflare’s Board of Directors. It applies to all entities within Cloudflare’s group of companies, and will be reviewed every year.
