Companies that should apply

The Cloudflare Developer Fund is looking for companies that are building apps on Cloudflare’s platform — allowing them to build and sell applications to millions of Cloudflare customers, accounting for 10% of daily Internet requests. Just as Cloudflare democratized technology that previously was reserved for large companies — making it simpler to use, more accessible, and even more powerful for everyone — Cloudflare Apps was created to give users access to tools previously only available to technical experts.

How are apps selected?

Cloudflare is looking for apps that will join us in our shared mission to help build a better Internet — one that is safe, fast, reliable, and accessible to everyone who has an idea that they want to share with the rest of the world.

After a company applies to the Cloudflare Developer Fund, we will review the company’s app, team, and product vision.

Here are some qualities we look for:

Product Vision

Motivated by and solves a real problem faced by the end user

Ease of use

Build a delightful experience for users

Democratizing Technology

Making powerful tools accessible to the busy and less technical

Why work with the Cloudflare Developer Fund

In order to launch an app, you need three things: distribution so that people are able to easily install the app, a way to get paid, and the capital to fund its development. Cloudflare’s app distribution gives access to the millions of Cloudflare community web properties, apps, APIs, SaaS companies and more that generate more than 10% of the Internet’s daily traffic.

And now the app fund provides the financial support.

The ecosystem we have invested in is something we work hard to build and support daily. The Cloudflare Developer Fund can offer guidance and expertise on product and go-to-market strategy, credits/discounts for Cloudflare plans, showcasing at major events, access to Cloudflare’s event spaces for meetups, and the ability to engage with top-tier VC partners:
